Intro to Literature & Composition I
This year we will be celebrating the fantasy fiction of CS Lewis. CS Lewis is considered the most influential Christian author of the 20th century. This course is a full year course, two semesters totaling 32 weeks in length. Class meets 1.5 hours each week online with class discussion with other students as well as with the teacher. Class includes grammar, literature analysis and composition skills are also taught. Class structure breakdown as follows, 30 minutes grammar, 30 minutes literature analysis and 30 minutes of composition skills.
Class Online Meeting Time will be Tuesdays 7:45-9:15 am (PST)
Semester I & II First three Narnia novels will be analyzed.
For this class we will be using Excellence in Writing's (IEW) Following Narnia Volume 1: The Lion's Song. Students will gain new confidence in their writing skills. This course is designed for 6-9th grade students
Course Fees: The cost for the Junior High Literature & Composition I or II is $500, to be paid in full by August 7th, or on the following payment plan:
$50 non-refundable deposit due at the time of registration in order to secure a place in the class. Fee goes toward the price of the class
$225 first-semester payment due August.
$225 second-semester payment due January.
If registering more than one student, please add a 3% surcharge for PayPal and/or credit card payments. A late fee of $25 will be charged for any payments over two weeks late.
